Using the calculator

• DLI: enter your measured PPFD and lighting hours to calculate daily light integral.
• PPFD: enter a target DLI and lighting hours to calculate the required intensity.
• Hours: enter a target DLI and measured PPFD to calculate the required lighting time.

Drag a slider or tap its underlined value for direct entry. Done saves a valid value; Cancel leaves it unchanged. Your last inputs and mode stay on your device.

Understanding the result

DLI = PPFD × hours × 0.0036

A positive target with zero light or zero hours has no numeric answer. A schedule above 24 hours is flagged. Scientific notation keeps very large results and tiny positive inputs readable.

Use a constant intensity or a true average over the lighting period. A single outdoor spot reading does not represent the whole day. The app calculates light exposure; it does not recommend crop targets or photoperiods.
